The team here has barely changed in five years, which is unusual and something we work at. It means you tend to see the same dentist every time, and the person on the desk already knows who you are when you ring.
Worked here for five years before buying the practice in 2016. She places the implants, sees most new patients, and is the person who decides that a tooth is worth saving when someone else has said it is not.
GDC No. 184026Three years in hospital oral surgery before moving into practice. Takes most of our root canal work and the awkward extractions, and is unbothered by patients who tell him they are terrible at this.
GDC No. 241865Joined in 2019 and now runs all our aligner cases. She will show you the simulation and then say plainly if yours is a case aligners can actually fix, which is not always the answer people want.
GDC No. 268314You can book straight in with Marta without seeing a dentist first. She keeps a record of your gum measurements over time and will show you the graph, which tends to end the argument about flossing quite quickly.
GDC No. 305447Runs the decontamination room and trains our trainee nurses. If you are anxious she is usually the one keeping the conversation going while the dentist works, and she is very good at it.
GDC No. 291208Answers the phone, handles the plan Direct Debits and finds appointments that do not exist. If you have a question about a bill, an estimate or a complaint, Sian is the right person and she would rather hear it early.
Not a GDC registrantEveryone clinical here is registered with the General Dental Council and their number is listed above, so you can check any of us on the GDC register in about thirty seconds. We would encourage it, for any practice you go to.
We meet every Monday morning before the first patient to go through the week, and once a month we sit down properly to look at anything that did not go to plan. That is where most of the changes to how we do things come from.
